Cost-Effective Sampling Strategies for Investigation and Remediation of Polluted Soil Using Geochemical, Geostatistical, and Contaminant migration models in a GIS environment

daniel scradeanu

The scope is to develop a soil sampling strategy to be applied in representative cases of oil contaminations, for spatially correlated variables using the tools of geostatistical analysis to provide a method to balance precision, accuracy, and costs.
